You got me killed even before I could open my eye,
That’s when my mother had to bid me a hefty goodbye.
 She had become so desperate to hear my first cry,
 To stop the society from killing me,did you even try?
What harm had I caused or mistake had I done,
That you had to kill me before even teaching me to walk or to run!
 Father o father just give me a reason,
Was bringing up a girl child an act of crime or treason?
Didnt you at once think about your lovely wife?
 How in grief and anger she would be to know that you took away my life!
Feed,groom and raise him with pride,Oh its a boy!
But why throw away a girl into the bin just like a lifeless toy?
Oh great society your thinking needs to be changed,
A girl is no alien or some object strange!
Even we are humans and have a right to live,
We dont crave for supiriority but atleast the right to equality to us can you give?
